If you’re a MediaBids publisher, you may be interested in running digital ads on your website or in your e-newsletters from our performance advertisers.

Digital ads are a great option when print inventory is limited, and we’re working to add more available campaigns each month. Our current list of digital ads is available HERE (Log-in Required) – you can simply visit the MediaBids site and select the ads and ad sizes you’d like to run.

If you currently have banner ads from MediaBids, and are unsure how to implement them, you can View Instructions Here . These instructions are also included in your file delivery, and accessible through your account at any time. Alternately, you can read through the instructions below –

Overview

After you have requested banner ads, you’ll receive an email with a zip file in it containing the code snippets for each of your banners. These code snippets will also be available in your MediaBids account.

These files are easily opened by all standard text editors and require no additional software to work with them.

In addition to these text files, you will also need access to either to your website HTML files, or to your Content management System (CMS). However you normally edit/publish content to your website will also be how Mediabids banners are published.

If you have ever published a Google tracking tag or Facebook widget, the process is very much the same.

Step 1: Choose the Banner Ad You’d Like to Place on Your Website
Inside the zip file you receive are individual text files containing the code snippet you will use. Each file is named with the campaign and image size. Open the zip file and navigate to the ad you want to place.

Step 2: Get Code
Double clicking will open the file in a standard text editor and will look something like this:

Step 3: Paste Code
Simply copy the banner code from your text editor and paste it into your website where you want the ad to appear.
